QPR VS Newcastle Prediction

Southampton and Aston Villa will kick-off the 37th Premier League round but our focus now goes on another match, which will be the last home round for the hosts from Queens Park Rangers, who will face against the visitors from Newcastle. If we’re pretty sure that Aston Villa of Tim Sherwood is with good chances to save their EPL position even after this round, then we can’t say the same for the visitors from Newcastle as the club from the English North East should be a bit more worried for its EPL place, since “The Magpies” will arrive at “Loftus Road Stadium” without a win in their last 9 appearances, and as an only positive we can mention that the team can be happy about ending his losing streak from 8 consecutive defeats, which ranged for around 2 months – from the 0:1 home defeat from Manchester United, till the 0:3 defeat from Leicester City, but fortunately of Newcastle John Carver’s men managed to end that in the last round with the 1:1 draw against West Bromwich Albion.
On other side we have the hosts from “White City”, London, who pack their suitcases for a Championship return, since “The Hoops” failed to keep their Premier League position after the spectacular play-off return in the end of the last season. One year later “The R’s” will return in the second tier of English football and we’re quite sure that Tony Fernandes is not happy from the situation, but that’s the reality. Now the supporters will have the opportunity to watch their last home match in the Premier League for an indefinite period, and this will happen after the 0:6 defeat from Manchester City in the last round. Horrible way to confirm your Championship relegation. Chris Ramsey couldn’t do the work and the local manager failed to save the elite status of his team, and it’s very likely that QPR’s owner and chairman Tony Fernandes will appoint someone else from the next season.
Another manager under pressure is Newcastle’s – John Carver, who was firstly appointed for an interim manager of the club from Newcastle upon Tyne, after Alan Pardew’s resignation, but after that Carver was appointed for a full time manager, and it seems that this was a mistake by Mike Ashley and the Newcastle board, since the club is lying on 17th position, which means that “The Magpies” are right over the relegation zone – with 2 points more than “The Tigers” from Hull (36 > 36). Considering the fact that Newcastle was in top 4 for a moment, and this was not in the first weeks of the season, when we have a look over the current situation – we’re sure that Newcastle supporters are dreaming for Alan Pardew again, but now John Carver must save the season. The rest we will see during the summer transfer window.

Final conclusion, betting prediction and bonuses, and possible starting squads of QPR and Newcastle – EPL 16.05.2015

As we mentioned Newcastle was at the top of the Premier League table, when “The Magpies” were with 6 successive wins in all competitions in the period October-November, but now Newcastle is without a victory since the 1:0 win over Aston Villa from the last day of February, which remains one from the just 2 Newcastle victories in 2015. Of course we must mention that all the injures and suspensions that followed the team in huge part of the season have their own effect over Newcastle’s performances and unfortunately for John Carver, now he will have to deal without a solid amount of absences again.
Michael Williamson is suspended, while Jak Alnwick, Steven Taylor, Massadio Haidara, Cheick Tiote and Siem de Jong are all injured, while Adam Armstrong and Vurnon Anita are doubtful, which puts a serious question for the left back position in Newcastle’s starting lineups, since Haidara is injured, while Anita is still under question. This can open a space for Jonás Gutiérrez or for or for someone from Paul Dummett and Jack Colback, who can play on that position as well.
The hosts from London are without the injured Alejandro Faurlin, Eduardo Vargas and Mauro Zarate, while Sandro and Rio Ferdinand will miss the clash for personal reasons. Mauricio Isla and Armand Traore are doubts for Chris Ramsey’s selection but the good news are that Nedum Onuoha returns after serving his suspension, as he missed the last round’s humiliation in Manchester.
The most logical questions here are few – how motivated QPR are? and how capable is Newcastle to keep his Premier League position? The answer will be given after the final whistle in this matchup but we believe that if the traditional for the English North East club must chase all the points from “Loftus Road”. We will place a not so big bet on the visitors from Newcastle here – important game for them, and the 1:1 draw over West Brom must give them some confidence. For their luck, Newcastle will have to chase the points against one from the most preferred opponents of “The Magpies”, since Newcastle is with 7 wins and 2 draws in his last 9 matches against Queens Park Rangers, as the last win of “The Hoops” dates from 1995, when QPR won with 3:0 at home.

Possible starting lineups:

QPR: Green – Isla, Onuoha, Caulker, Suk-Young – Fer, Barton, Henry, Phillips – Zamora, Austin. (4-4-2)

Newcastle: Krul – Janmaat, Coloccini, Dummett, Gutierrez – Taylor, Colback – Perez, Sissoko, Cabella – Cisse. (4-2-3-1)
