Celta Vigo VS Deportivo La Coruna Prediction

There is much common between these two teams, last week, both of these teams faced Madrid. Celta Vigo were playing away to At. Madrid , while Deportivo La Coruna were playing home to Real Madrid. However, the result were completely different for both teams. Celta Vigo earned a very important point away, while Deportivo were crushed by Real (2-8).

When we looking at the statistics, Celta can score a lot and concede even more. Having scored two goals per game on average and conceding 6 (out of 4 games).

We saw last week, how Los Blancos just killed Deportivo’s defence. They do concede goals easily. Having said that, they did put two goals in Real’s net as well and both of those goals were headers. That shows that they are capable of scoring. So, I do see them score at least one.

I pick Over 2.5 goals here – 1.87.

Celta can be proud from a 2-2 draw against Atletico Madrid, where spark of brilliance came from Sergio Alvarez, as Celta continue to excel in their usual playing formation. For the match against Atletico, Nolito was left on the bench, while Pablo Hernandez has integrated perfectly in the midfield and even managed to score a fantastic goal that surprised even Godin. The hosts are known for keeping the pressure on their opponent while being dangerous in the attack, and maybe Eduardo Berizzo will try to rotate his squad and take advantage of the visitor’s fragile state.

Deportivo la Coruna will try to put the match against Real Madrid behind them. It was easily noticeable that the squad has suffered major changes and that the new players need time to adapt to each other and to their team. Romero believes the team can still avoid relegation, and that the quality of their squad allows them to hope for more. Alex Bergantinos added that the fact Celta are the obvious favorites for the match it does not mean his team will end up losing the match. Pablo Inssua, Lucas Perez and Diogo Salomao will miss tomorrow’s game, but Victor Fernandez gets Jose Rodriguez back from injury.
