Bayern Munich VS Hertha Berlin Prediction
“The Bavarians” are keen to extend their unbeaten Bundesliga run when in Saturday afternoon Bayern München welcomes Hertha BSC couple of days after the 4:0 win vs Olympiakos Piraeus. This secured the first position of Pep Guardiola’s men in their Champions League group and now Bayern can focus over their domestic campaign. Matches vs Hertha BSC, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Ingolstadt, Darmstadt 98 (DFB-Pokal) and visit in Hannover are those who will end the football 2015 for Bayern, as well as their last game in the Champions League group stage – visit in Zagreb.
“The Old Lady” from Berlin will travel for Bavaria on fourth position which is an excellent achievement for Pal Dardai’s men. Hertha occupies the last Champions League spot so far and they’re with 1 point over Borussia Mönchengladbach (22pts) and with 3 over Bayer Leverkusen and Schalke 04. However, it will be really difficult for Hertha to keep their position after this round since win in München looks like a dream at this moment, but who knows. Nonetheless, “The Old Lady” comes after a narrow win vs Hoffenheim which will increase the morale of the team and Hertha certainly hopes on a positive scenario, like Eintracht Frankfurt did almost a month ago. “The Eagles” from Frankfurt are the only team who stopped Bayern’s winning run and this came exactly with a goalless draw in end of October.
This time the game is in München and we expect the common powerful effort by “FCB” while Hertha will most likely use its main strength – counter attacks.
That’s why we find good value in these high odds on “Both teams to score” – Salomon Kalou is the player who scores mostly for the Berliners (7 goals), but we also shouldn’t underestimate the finishing skills of Vedad Ibišević, in case that Dardai uses him in some part of the game, since expectations are that Hertha will play with a 4-1-4-1 formation as Kalou will be on top.
