Barclays Premier League Round 18 – Boxing Day 2015

Another season in Barclays Premier League that attracts all the looks of the football fans from all over the world with its busy festive schedule and mostly with the famous Boxing Day fueled by the relevant number of games which are scheduled throughout the day. This year it matches with the regular Saturdays in English football and we have games in four different starting hours. After the first 17 BPL rounds are already in the history, we have an extremely intriguing season and even more intriguing leaders which will stand at the Premier League peak on the Christmas eve.
All big names will be involved in Saturday’s round up and the first scheduled game is between Stoke City and “The Red Devils” from Manchester. One of the last chances for Louis van Gaal according to some of the rumours.
Thereafter on the horizon we have couple of games that are scheduled for the usual Premier League afternoon time – 15:00, as the different referee whistles will be blown on seven different stadiums at the same time. Sounds promising and tempting? Well, right after their end the Premier League Boxing Day marathon will continue with two other games. The first one will meet the reborn Newcastle and the underperforming “Toffees” from Everton, where Romelu Lukaku aims to score in eight successive Premier League game. Surely a claim for improving of Jamie Vardy’s record…
Last, but not least, Southampton will fight to bounce back after the 5 defeats in their last 6 games when in Saturday evening “The Saints” will face against the strong team of Arsenal. “The Gunners” can hope to jump straight on the top but this will happen if Leicester City drop some points from their visit in Merseyside.
