Inspired by four victories in the last 5 games, three of them in a row, Sevilla takes on Getafe for a clash from Sunday’s Spanish La Liga schedule. The Rojiblancos stay at home after a significant midweek success over a strong opposition in Atletico Madrid’s face, while Getafe had more than a week break since their last competitive fixture which took place last Friday, 19 January, a 2-2 home draw vs Athletic Bilbao.
Both sides have met earlier in the 2017-18 campaign when Sevilla achieved a late win (1-0) at the “Coliseum Alfonso Pérez”, where Ganso was the only goal scorer. That was their first victory in Getafe since November 2008.

LaLiga: Sevilla vs Getafe 28.01.2018

After a terrible beginning of his Sevilla job, Vincenzo Montella finally gains confidence and he will be keen to record another positive result in his second La Liga challenge at the “Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán”. First one was something Montella and all Sevilla fans wish to forget as soon as possible – 3-5 defeat to city rivals Real Betis, which caused a huge criticism over the Italian by everyone in Sevilla.
Now Sevilla have won four of their last five competitive games and this includes three wins in the Copa del Rey – one against Cadiz and two vs Atletico Madrid, which have been padded by an away win over Espanyol last weekend. The only negative score in that term was a defeat to Deportivo Alaves, but the two wins over Atleti and the 3-0 win vs Espanyol have suddenly improved Sevilla’s morale.
Our betting prediction goes on the home team – Sevilla to win with more than one goal, so we recommend the Asian Handicap -1.
